A barista at your wedding or private party
By Daniël MartinaPublished 2 min read
In short
A barista fits a wedding or private party when your guests want something special to drink: on arrival, after dinner or the morning after. If there is no espresso machine at the location, I work as a partner of Barista Company, who provide the machine.
When a coffee bar fits
At a party there are a few moments when guests like something warm:
- on arrival, as a welcome and as a first meeting
- after dinner, instead of or alongside the coffee at the table
- the morning after, at a breakfast or brunch for those who stayed
You do not have to choose all three. One good moment is enough to make the bar work.
What to arrange at a party location
- a place for the bar that guests can find easily
- power and water nearby
- whether there is an espresso machine, or whether one has to be added
- the times and how long the bar is open
- wishes of guests: all kinds of milk and decaf are possible and I arrange them myself
If there is no espresso machine at the location, Booking a barista with or without a machine explains how that works.
The menu
At a party not everyone drinks coffee, and they do not have to. All coffees and regular tea are standard, and I can offer matcha, chai, mint, ginger and syrup on top, so every guest finds something. More about choosing is in Which drinks to put on the menu at an event.
Latte art
I make latte art on every milk drink. At a party that is mostly something to show guests: a heart or a tulip on the cappuccino is something to look at for a moment before the first sip.
How to ask
In the form on the homepage, choose "Private occasion" and fill in the date, the number of guests and the location. Also mention it if you have a particular moment in mind, such as after dinner.
Frequently asked questions
Do you also do private occasions?
Yes. Choose "Private occasion" in the form.
Can I book a barista for a few hours?
Give the duration you want in your request. In the proposal you will see what that means for your situation.
What if there is no machine at the location?
Then I work as a partner of Barista Company, who provide the machine. The booking then goes through them.
